Muscle Legends: Why You Should Rebirth Sooner Than You Think

Muscle Legends: Why You Should Rebirth Sooner Than You Think

Muscle Legends looks like a clicking game, and for the first ten minutes it is. Then someone walks past who's twenty times your size and it becomes obvious that raw repetition isn't what got them there. Strength here is a multiplication problem, not an addition one — which equipment you're on, how many rebirths you've done, and which pets you have out all stack together. Knowing the order to build those in is worth more than hours of grinding.

How training actually works

Training is the main way to raise strength, the core stat behind your punching power and damage in fights. Equipment is scattered across the gyms and other locations, and each use grants an increase based on that machine's efficiency and your current stats.

The important detail: you don't buy or upgrade equipment. Machines have strength requirements, and you unlock access to heavier lifts by getting stronger. Start on the light equipment — dumbbells, the treadmill — and the heavier bars open up as your stat climbs.

Use the bench press whenever you can reach it

Not all equipment is equal. The bench press gives the highest strength gain per use and is widely considered the most effective strength tool in the game — it also feeds durability as a secondary. Squat racks and similar resistance machines work on the same principle.

So the practical rule is simple: whenever you meet the requirement for a stronger machine, move to it. Grinding on a dumbbell you outgrew an hour ago is the most common way new players waste time.

Rebirth: the real progression system

This is where most of your long-term power comes from, and it's the part beginners misunderstand.

  • Your first rebirth unlocks at 10,000 strength. That's the threshold to aim at in your first sessions.
  • Rebirths unlock gyms. New gyms open based on how many rebirths you've done — not on rank, not on purchases. This is why hoarding strength instead of rebirthing actively stalls you: the better training grounds are locked behind the rebirth counter.

Resetting a big number feels bad the first time. But since gym access is tied to rebirth count, refusing to rebirth means training forever on equipment you've already outgrown.

Areas are gated by stats too

Beyond gyms, different areas of the map open depending on your stats — Tiny Island, for example, is for players between 0 and 1,000 strength. If a location seems to reject you, it's a stat gate, not a bug. Check your numbers rather than looking for a hidden entrance.

Worth remembering that strength isn't the only stat in play: agility, durability, buffness and size all exist, and different equipment feeds different ones.

Pets and boosts

Pets are the main multiplier available to everyone, and there's a slot limit — so which pets you have equipped matters more than how many you own. They're worth building toward, but don't drain your gems on the first egg you see; a stat foundation first makes those pets worth more later.

Two free boosts most players forget:

  • Join the Scriptbloxian Studios group for the group chest and an extra daily spin.
  • Roblox Premium, if you already have it, gives double strength from training, two extra daily fortune spins, double chest rewards and an extra pet slot. Not worth buying just for this, but if you have it, make sure it's active.

Codes

The game lists several codes directly on its Roblox page, and we track the working ones on our Muscle Legends codes page so you don't have to re-read the description every patch. Redeem them before a long session, not after — several give temporary boosts that are wasted if you claim them on your way out.

Common mistakes

  • Training on equipment you've outgrown. Check the requirements on heavier machines every time your strength jumps.
  • Refusing to rebirth. Gym access is tied to rebirth count, so hoarding raw strength locks you out of better training.
  • Spending gems on the first pet egg. Build a foundation first.
  • Assuming you need to pay. Everything above works free-to-play; purchases only speed it up.
